GOLD TREASURE BAR 1622 FLEET ATOCHA 22kt PLT. SHIPWRECK DOUBLOON COIN COB This gorgeous GOLD BAR (1 BAR for listed price) was hand forged (of PURE SILVER) and plated in 22kt GOLD! It has been designed after our authentic 1622 Atocha Bar (also featured in our eBay store); from the Nuestra Señora De Atocha of 1622, recovered July 20th 1985 by Treasure Salvors Inc “Mel Fisher Family.” The original we also have was poured and struck in Colombia from the Pena-Randa Foundry in 1621-22 “En Rada Bar.” This beautiful reproduction features the same markings of the Tax Stamps (indicating the Royal Fifth” has been paid, 2 (TWO Foundry stamps (En Rada) and 4 (FOUR) “purity Locations” karat markings of 20.75 karats (XX…= 20.75 karats). There’s also an assayers “coop or bite” located at the center left (called the Bocado). This sample “bite” was taken by the assayer to test the metal and he retained as his fee. Several of these bars were brought up from the Keys “deep water wreck” off the Gulf. We’ve done extensive research and believe there to be 10 to 12 of these bars in existence. This beautiful reproduction weighs approximately 15 oz plus and measures in at an impressive 8” Long x 1.25” Wide x .25” thick and feels pretty close to the Real thing,
