          Australian kangaroo

          The Australian kangaroo is large marsupial endemic to Australia.  Identified by its muscular tail, strong back legs, large feet, short fur and long pointed ears, the animal has become a much-loved national icon.

          Australian landscape design

          The coin’s reverse depicts a kangaroo hopping across the Australian landscape with a lizard perched on a rock in the foreground.  The design also includes the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO 2019 2 KILO 9999 SILVER’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark. The coins are individually edge-numbered from 1 to 200.
