The 2024 Libertad Coin Set by the Casa de Moneda de Mexico contains five coins - 1 ounce, 1/2 ounce, 1/4 ounce, 1/10 ounce and 1/20 ounce - all of 99.9% gold. All five gold coins were struck in proof quality and show the Mexican goddess of victory in front of two volcanoes. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of Mexico. The Casa de Moneda de Mexico is issuing the Gold Libertad bullion coins since 1981. Starting 2005 also in as a collector's version in proof quality. The gold coin, also called Onza, has no denomination but is a full legal tender in Mexico. The strictly limited gold proof set is delivered in the original wooden box including a certificate of authenticity from the Casa de Moneda de Mexico.
