          Description

This exceptional Gold Proof Set from the Royal Canadian Mint celebrates the introduction of standard time and combines history with clean aesthetics. Six large-format 300-dollar coins feature Roman numeral clock faces with different clock positions, each symbolizing a Canadian time zone. The front features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, while the back covers were designed by Bonnie Ross. This creates a thematically cohesive and representative ensemble.

The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) confirms precise specifications and thus clear documentation: alloy 58.33% gold and 41.67% silver, weight 45 g and diameter 40 mm. It also states that the coins were minted by the Royal Canadian Mint and are authorized by the Canadian government. What makes it particularly collector-friendly is that each coin has its own numbered certificate. This ensures that the provenance remains fully traceable.
