Additionally, the coin is gilded with yellow gold. Furthermore, each silver leaf has the guarantee of the Canadian government and is legal tender in the issuing country. The design of the silver coin's unchanged image over the years is credited to Walter Ott.
On the obverse of the silver bullion coin, there is the likeness of King Charles III, along with the nominal value and year of mintage.
On the reverse , the national symbol of Canada, the maple leaf, is depicted, along with the fineness, weight, and issuing country.
